Who I Work With
I work with adults, couples and families who struggle with: • Attachment and relational trauma • Complex PTSD (CPTSD) • Anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or emotional numbness • Repeated patterns in close relationships • Chronic tension, shutdown, or feeling unsafe in the body • The impact of early childhood experiences and immigration stress. Often, these difficulties are not only psychological, but are held in the body and nervous system.
My Approach (Psychoanalytic + Somatic/IFS/EMDR)
Relational Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy to explore unconscious patterns, early attachment dynamics, and how past relationships live on in the present therapeutic relationship.
Trauma-Focused Body-Oriented Sensorimotor (Somatic) IFS EMDR Psychotherapy to work directly with the body’s responses —breath, tension, collapse, impulses to fight, flee, or freeze —helping the nervous system complete what was once interrupted.
Together, we do not only “talk about” emotions, but gently experience and regulate them in the body and in relationship.
